Orem City Center Park expanded to eight gyms — the six in-park stops plus the Public Safety building and the chapel across the street. Exact shortest walking order on real path-network distances (BRouter), solved with Held–Karp and confirmed by exhaustive brute force. Every gym within ~1 km is plotted in red for context — zoom out to see them all.

Loop or line? The loop returns to the start; start at any gym — numbering is anchored at American Yellowwood for reference. The line runs The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints → City of Orem Department of Public Safety and saves 796 m over the loop.
Verified. Every leg of this route was checked against the actual path network: distances are accurate, both street crossings (400 East) land on marked crosswalks, and the detours around the ballfields are real fences, not routing quirks. The router won't cut across open grass, though — walking straight over the arboretum lawns between the tree gyms trims roughly 50-150 m off the quoted loop.
Origin. Found as rank #4 in the PG-area route search: closed loops hitting 7+ gyms in a 30-minute walk, searched across a 10 km radius.
Expanded from the original 6-gym in-park loop (933 m) after the route search found the 8-gym variant fits 30 minutes.
Method. Distances are the per-pair minimum of BRouter's hiking-mountain and shortest profiles plus a metric-closure pass. Gym data: PokeScrapper capture through 2026-07-07. Buildings and paths: OpenStreetMap.
