Exact shortest walking order through the 8 in-park gyms at Mary and Art Dye Park, on real path-network distances (BRouter). Solved with Held–Karp and confirmed by exhaustive brute force — provably optimal for the routed distances. Every gym within ~1 km of the route is plotted in red for context — zoom out to see them all.

Loop or line? The loop returns to the start; start at any gym — numbering is anchored at Riverwalk Trail Bench #1 (SW corner) for reference. The line runs Disc Golf #15 (NE) → Riverwalk Bench (SW) and saves 890 m over the loop.
Verified. Exhaustive brute force reproduced both totals exactly, and the matrix audit passed every hard check. The detours are real — the fenced dog park, an irrigation ditch crossing the park diagonally, and fenced ballfields block their straight lines. One caveat: the Beehive Field gym snaps to a path point 48 m away, so legs touching it read up to ~95 m short — inside the 80 m reach, so it doesn't change how you play it.
Selection. The park cluster is clean: these 8 gyms sit within 545 m of the park center, and the nearest non-member gym is 835 m out (a 290 m gap). Nothing was excluded by hand.
Method. Distances are the per-pair minimum of BRouter's hiking-mountain and shortest profiles plus a metric-closure pass. Gym data: PokeScrapper capture through 2026-07-07. Buildings and paths: OpenStreetMap.
