Historic downtown American Fork along Main Street. Exact shortest walking order on real path-network distances (BRouter), solved with Held–Karp and confirmed by exhaustive brute force. Every gym within ~1 km is plotted in red for context — zoom out to see them all.

Loop or line? The loop returns to the start; start at any gym — numbering is anchored at Bike Peddler for reference. The line runs Thai Village Rickshaw → First Presbyterian Church of American Fork and saves 636 m over the loop.
Verified. Every leg of this loop was cross-checked against OpenStreetMap: the distances are accurate to within about one percent, and at 2.2 km the loop is as tight as the downtown street grid physically allows. Both Main Street crossings happen at the traffic signals (Center Street and 100 East), but the side-street crossings along the way — Merchant, 100 West, Barratt, and 200 West — are unmarked stop-sign crossings, so keep an eye out for turning cars there.
Origin. Found as rank #8 in the PG-area route search: closed loops hitting 7+ gyms in a 30-minute walk, searched across a 10 km radius.
Method. Distances are the per-pair minimum of BRouter's hiking-mountain and shortest profiles plus a metric-closure pass. Gym data: PokeScrapper capture through 2026-07-07. Buildings and paths: OpenStreetMap.
